Signing in to Checkpit (formerly Oilbook) with Google is optional. If you created an account, you can delete it at any time.

Option 1: In the app

1. Open Checkpit and sign in.
2. Tap Settings at the bottom, then go to the Account section.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your cloud backup is deleted first, and then your account, right away. Anything you posted on the community board is removed within a few minutes.

Option 2: On the community board (web)

1. Open thunder-punch.github.io/oilbook/community and sign in.
2. Open the menu in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

This deletes the same account, so your cloud backup and board content are deleted too.

Option 3: By email

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the email address of your Google account with the subject "Checkpit account deletion". We delete the account, its cloud backup, and your community board content within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your cloud backup in Cloud Firestore: the copy of your vehicles, fuel, service, and expense entries, service items, reminders, and app settings.
• Your Checkpit account in Firebase Authentication, including your name, email address, profile photo link, and account ID.
• Your community board nickname, posts, comments, photos, the reports you made, and your block list. Counts of reports already made on other content stay as numbers only.
• Your Smart receipt reading counters (the daily counts linked to your account).
• The messaging token your phones registered to get notifications of our replies.
